Look Your Best with Botox Treatment

Everyone wants to look their best. Unfortunately, nature has other ideas. Fine wrinkles that appear when the skin is pulled or pinched can make us look older than we really are. The tired, uninterested appearance we present when we smile or frown is caused by thin lines forming in areas around the eyes, mouth, on the nose bridge, and on the forehead. These dynamic wrinkles can be smoothed away via Botox® treatment.

Botox® treatment is a simple way to diminish the appearance of crow’s feet and marionette lines. The treatment doesn’t involve resurfacing or skin ablation. Instead, a fluid is injected into muscle tissue. The muscles no longer receive commands from the brain, and they cannot fully contract. This keeps the skin surface smooth and without the prominence of smile lines and crow’s feet.

A Customized Treatment

Some skin treatment procedures are really a one-size-fits-all procedure, and many individuals are not good candidates. It really depends on the shape of the face, the thickness of the skin, and the bone structure. On the other hand, Botox® is a suitable treatment for nearly everyone suffering from the appearance of age-related dynamic wrinkles.

This treatment can be customized in terms of dosage and injection site location. When we consult with you, we look at the size and strength of the muscles that affect the appearance of the skin surface. We’re able to custom-design a simple treatment that will effectively diminish the appearance of wrinkles in all of the trouble spots.

How It Works

We inject the fluid in specific locations using a very thin needle. The fluid moves around a bit in the muscle tissue, and after about three days, the nerve signal blocking effect becomes noticeable. If you want to smile or pout, go right ahead. The skin won’t pull or pinch as much as it did prior to treatment, and this means that the marionette lines and crow’s feet no longer appear. You look younger no matter how much you widen your eyes or purse your lips.

The effect lasts for about four months. You simply come back in to get a repeat Botox® treatment. You’ll also notice that over a period of a year or so, the muscles get used to being in a semi-relaxed state, so you won’t need the full dosage each time you get the treatment.
